This weekend I had some wonderful photo opportunities but unfortunately I left my camera at home. In situation 1 we were going to a festival (big chance you can’t enter with a big DSLR) and in situation 2 we were going to the beach (= deadly for DSLRs).
This is quite a common situation for many photographers, and the modern solution is a mirrorless system camera like the FujiFilm X100, Sony NEX-7 or Olympus OM-D (& PEN). I’ll be exploring this category of camera over the next weeks.
